State Secretary Jan-Erik Støstad in the Ministry of Labour and Social Inclusion commended The National Institute of Occupational Health (STAMI) in his closing speech at the 53rd Nordic Work Environment Meeting in Oslo on August 27th.
State Secretary Jan-Erik Støstad in the Ministry of Labour and Social Inclusion commended The National Institute of Occupational Health (STAMI) in his closing speech at the 53rd Nordic Work Environment Meeting in Oslo on August 27th.
Støstad emphasised that STAMI is the primary Norwegian institute for research on occupational health, and also that the institute internationally has found its position among the leading research institutes in this area.
In his closing speech, the State Secretary also maintained that the Government is committed to a further strengthening of the occupational health services, and also that research on work environment and occupational health is an important means in promoting a more inclusive workplace and labour market.
