The Norwegian SOPEMI-report, prepared by the Ministry for Labour and Social Inclusion - based on figures from Statistics Norway and the Norwegian Directorate of Immigration - presents an overview of developments in immigration and integration policies and contains statistics on migration and the composition of immigrants and their Norwegian-born children. The report covers the major types of immigration (labour, family, humanitarian, studies), citizenship, integration in general, training and education, labour market issues, electoral participation, racism and discrimination. It also lists new publications in English. The report for Norway and similar reports from the other member countries are used as important input for the annual publication from the OECD, International Migration Outlook.
