New estimates show that the local authorities are increasing their tax revenues by about NOK 800 million in 2010.
New estimates show that the local authorities are increasing their tax revenues by about NOK 800 million in 2010.
“The local authorities can use this money to improve their economic situation, by paying debts for example,” says Minister of Local Government and Regional Development Liv Signe Navarsete.
The estimates have been updated on the basis of new information about tax revenues. The increase, of about NOK 800 million, is made up of NOK 650 million in local authorities and NOK 150 million in county authorities.
The real growth in total revenues to the local and county authority sector in 2010 is estimated at NOK 7.1 billion. The growth of unrestricted income is estimated as NOK 3.9 billion this year.
