Municipal tax revenues saw strong growth in 2012

New estimates show that the municipal sector will have NOK 2.6 billion more in tax revenues in 2012. This is in addition to the increase in the tax estimate of NOK 2.3 billion from the revised national budget last spring.
The higher tax revenues in the revised national budget will be continued in 2013.
The real increase in overall revenues for the municipal sector in 2012 has been calculated at NOK 6.9 billion. The increase in freely disposable income has been calculated at NOK 5.4 billion in 2012.
