Commissioner for Competition Neelie Kroes and Minister of Petroleum and Energy Terje Riis-Johansen met in Bergen on 3 July to discuss various energy-related issues. Particular emphasis was placed on Norwegian energy, the liberalisation of energy markets, energy security and the commitment on both sides to promote Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) (projects).
