EFTA and the European Commission have launched an information campaign on CE marking.
EFTA and the European Commission have launched an information campaign on CE marking. CE marking makes Europe's market yours! CE marking shows that a product has been assessed and is in conformity with EEA requirements. The aim of the campaign is to raise awareness about CE marking.
– It is positive that EFTA and the EU focus on CE marking. Many are used to see products with CE marking but do not really know what it implies, says Minister of Trade and Industry Trond Giske. It is important for companies to be aware of the requirements and opportunities of the CE marking system.
The campaign addresses primarily the business community and will run throughout 2011. Information for consumers will also be part of the campaign.
