The Office of the Prime Minister has from 1 February appointed Mr. Morten Wasstøl, (33), programme officer, Arendal, as political advisor to Minister of the Environment Helen Bjørnøy. He succeeds Mr. Kjetil Bjørklund, who will leave the post from the same date.

Change of political advisor in Ministry of the Environment
The Office of the Prime Minister has from 1 February appointed Mr. Morten Wasstøl, (33), programme officer, Arendal, as political advisor to Minister of the Environment Helen Bjørnøy. He succeeds Mr. Kjetil Bjørklund, who will leave the post from the same date.
Morten Wasstøl comes from a
post as programme officer at UNEP/GRID-Arendal. He has been member
of the Socialis Left Party's board and leader of the party's
committee on environment policy since 2005. Mr. Wasstøl is Master
of Science in urban and regional development, from the London
School of Economics 1999.
