Norway and Mexico signs Memorandum of Understanding on climate and forests

After the Oslo Climate and Forest Conference 2010, Norway and Mexico will sign a Memorandum of Understanding for cooperation on climate and forest issues.

The memorandum confirms the countries´ will to work together on reducing emissions from forests in developing countries. Mexico has vast experience from working with reducing deforestation and has developed methodologies of high quality for measuring results.

The press is invited to participate during the signing ceremony.
