Norway’s Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg Wednesday offered his government’s condolences to China after last week’s earthquake, by signing a protocol of condolences at China’s embassy in Oslo.

”Our thoughts go out to those who have survived and to those who have lost their dear ones and their homes”, Stoltenberg said after signing the protocol.
The Prime Minister praised Chinese authorities for their rapid and efficient handling of the crisis, and for their open attitude in connection with the catastrophe.
Norway has initially granted NOK 20 million to disaster aid after China’s earthquake.
