Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg received UK Prime Minister David Cameron on Wednesday evening for talks at the Government Guest House.
“It’s a great pleasure to receive David Cameron here in Oslo. The UK is one of our closest neighbours, and there are strong ties between our countries,” said Mr Stoltenberg.
The main topic for the talks was the bilateral relationship between Norway and the UK, energy cooperation and the economic situation in Europe.
On Thursday morning, Mr Cameron and Mr Stoltenberg will meet representatives of the Norwegian and British energy industries at the Aker premises in Oslo.
Later that day, they will travel together to Berlin, where they will discuss topics such as democracy, technology and dialogue with citizens with Chancellor Angela Merkel.
