State secretary Torbjørn Giæver Eriksen at the office of the Prime Minister will be away on leave and holiday from 13 May to 17 September 2006. In his absence the following will be acting as responsible for press affairs in the political staff at the office:

Anne Odden (39) comes from the post as head of information at the Labour Party's Storting secretariat. She holds the degree of Cand. Philol. from the University of Oslo since 1999, with media and communication studies as her main subject.
The Government represents the Labour Party (Lab.), the Socialist Left Party (Soc.) and the Centre Party (Cent.). From 1 June the list of state secretaries looks as follows:
