In today’s session of the Council of State the King has appointed Mr. Øyvind Slåke (42), special advisor, Oslo, as state secretary to Minister of Trade and Industry Dag Terje Andersen as of today. He succeeds Mr. Frode Berge, who from today has been honourably discharged from the office. Berge has been state secretary since 21 October 2005.
In today’s session of the Council of State the King has appointed Mr. Øyvind Slåke (42), special advisor, Oslo, as state secretary to Minister of Trade and Industry Dag Terje Andersen as of today. He succeeds Mr. Frode Berge, who from today has been honourably discharged from the office. Berge has been state secretary since 21 October 2005.
Ms. Annelene Svingen, political advisor to Minister of Trade and Industry Dag Terje Andersen, will be acting state secretary in the same ministry during State Secretary Rikke Lind’s leave of absence, from a date to be decided by the Office of the Prime Minister and for a duration of no more than one year.
Øyvind Slåke comes from the post as special advisor at the Norwegian Union for Industry and Energy Workers. He has formerly been advisor at Maritime Forum and the Norwegian Shipowners’ Association, political advisor to the Labour Party’s parliamentary group and at the Labour Party. He was political advisor in the Ministry of Justice from November 1996 until June 1997.
