Mr. Raimo Valle (42), deputy chief of staff, Tromsø, has today been appointed state secretary to Minister of Labour and Social Inclusion Bjarne Håkon Hanssen. Mr. Valle succeeds State Secretary Berit Oskal Eira, who at the same time has been honourably discharged from the office.
In today’s session of the Council of State the King has appointed Mr. Raimo Valle (42), deputy chief of staff, Tromsø, to the office as state secretary to Minister of Labour and Social Inclusion Bjarne Håkon Hanssen. Mr. Valle succeeds State Secretary Berit Oskal Eira, who at the same time has been honourably discharged from the office.
Raimo Valle comes from the post as deputy chief of staff to the county municipality leader in the County of Troms, in Tromsø. He has previously been advisor and executive officer for Sami affairs at the county municipality of Troms. Mr. Valle holds a Cand. Mag. degree from the University of Tromsø, in Finnish language, social planning and public administration.
The Government represents the Labour Party (Lab.), the Socialist Left Party (Soc.) and the Centre Party (Cent.). The list of state secretaries now is as follows:
