New political advisor in the Ministry of Education and Research

The Office of the Prime Minister has from 22 October appointed Mr. Audun Kolsrud Herning (26) (Soc.), Nesodden, as political advisor to Minister of Education Bård Vegard Solhjell (Soc.).

Mr. Audun Kolsrud Herning has formerly held a number of political positions in the Socialist Left Party. Mr. Kolsrud Herning now comes from a post as election campaign secretary in the Socialist Left Party. He has been leader of the Socialists Youth League of Norway and has been a member of the national board of Nature and Youth (1998-2000).
