The Office of the Prime Minister has from 1 January 2009 appointed Ms. Anne Cathrine Berger (36), advisor, Oslo, as political advisor to Minister of Fisheries and Coastal Affairs Helga Pedersen. Berger will succeed Mr. John Erik Pedersen.

Anne Cathrine Berger comes from a post as advisor at the Norwegian Labour Party. She has previously been head of information at the Norwegian Women’s Public Health Association and advisor to the Labour Party’s group at the Storting. Berger is Cand.Polit. at the University of Oslo 2007, with political science, theology and sociology as her subjects.
