The Office of the Prime Minister has for the period 18 May-28 July 2009 appointed Ms. Marit Jacobsen (28), head of administration, Orre in Rogaland, as acting political advisor to Minister of Local Government and Regional Development Magnhild Meltveit Kleppa. Political advisor Lars Erik Bartnes has been granted leave of absence for the same period.

Political advisor Lars Erik Bartnes has been granted leave of absence for the same period.

Marit Jacobsen comes from a post as head of administration at Rogaland County Commission on Child Welfare and Social Affairs. She has previously been head of organisation at Hordaland Centre Party, and is leader of Rogaland Centre Youth. Jacobsen holds a University of Bergen master’s degree in political science.
