Norway's Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg has sent a letter to congratulate Helen Clark on her appointment as Administrator of the UNDP and Chair of the United Nations Development Group.

“I wish to congratulate you on your appointment today as Administrator of the UNDP and Chair of the United Nations Development Group.
Your vision, experience and leadership is needed to navigate the many challenges ahead, and to build consensus and forge collaboration. Norway will remain a committed supporter of the UNDP.
As coordinator of the UN-system and its operational work in poverty reduction, democratic governance, conflict prevention and recovery, and envirnment and sustainable development, UNDP's role is more important than ever.
I wish you the best of luck”, Prime Minister Stoltenberg writes in his letter to Helen Clark.
