In today’s session of the Council of State the King has appointed Mr. Morten Søberg (41), political adviser, Oslo, as state secretary to Minister of Finance Sigbjørn Johnsen. Søberg succeeds Mr. Ole Morten Geving who has been honourably discharged from the same office.

Morten Søberg comes from a post as political advisor at the Centre Party’s secretariat at the Storting.
