Changes among the state secretaries

In today’s session of the Council of State the King has honourably discharged Mr. Espen Barth Eide and Mr. Roger Ingebrigtsen from their offices as state secretary to Minister of Defence Grete Faremo and Minister of Health and Care Services Anne-Grete Strøm-Erichsen respectively.

At the same time Mr. Barth Eide has been appointed state secretary to Minister of Foreign Affairs Jonas Gahr Støre and Mr. Ingebrigtsen state secretary to Minister of Defence Grete Faremo.

The changes are effective as of 28 June 2010.
The Government represents the Labour Party (Lab.), the Socialist Left Party (Soc.) and the Centre Party (Cent.). The list of state secretaries is now as follows:
