Changes among the state secretaries

In today’s session of the Council of State the King has appointed Ms. Inger-Anne Ravlum as state secretary to Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg from 11 June 2011. From the same date Ravlum has been honourably discharged from her office as state secretary to Minister of Reform, Government Administration and Church Affairs Rigmor Aasrud. Ravlum will be acting during state secretary Mina Gerhardsen’s leave of absence, which starts on 7 May 2011.

Also in today’s session of the Council of State Mr. Torbjørn Giæver Eriksen has been honourably discharged from his office as state secretary to the Prime Minister as of 11 June 2011. Giæver Eriksen’s responsibility for press affairs will be taken over by Mr. Hans Kristian Amundsen. Amundsen, who has previously been appointed state secretary to the Prime Minister, will take up this post on 9 May 2011. From the same date he will be honourably discharged from his post as state secretary to Minister of Fisheries and Coastal Affairs Lisbeth Berg-Hansen.
