Change among the state secretaries

In today’s session of the Council of State the King has appointed Mr. Kjell Erik Øie (52), programme director, Oslo, as state secretary to Minister of Health and Care Services Anne-Grete Strøm-Erichsen.

Øie comes from the post as programme director at Plan Norge. He was political adviser in the Ministry of Children and Family Affairs 2000-2001, and state secretary in the Ministry of Children and Family Affairs/Ministry of Children and Equality 2005-2009.
