The Office of the Prime Minister has from 8 April 2013 appointed Ms. Line Tresselt (29), adviser, Oslo, as political adviser to Minister of Defence Anne-Grete Strøm-Erichsen. Tresselt succeeds Mr. Atle Ottesen, who resigned on 1 April.

Line Tresselt comes from a post as adviser at Geelmuyden.Kiese. She has previously been a communications adviser to the Labour Party’s parliamentary group, worked for UNESCO in Norway and abroad and been a trainee in Norway’s Foreign Service. Tresselt has studied political science and French at universities in Norway, France and Russia.
