In today’s session of the Council of State, Mr. Pål Martin Sand (36), deputy judge, Hamar, has been appointed state secretary to Minister of Justice and Public Security Grete Faremo as of 2 May 2013. At the same time Ms. Astri Aas-Hansen has been honourably discharged from the same office.
In today’s session of the Council of State, the Crown Prince Regent has appointed Mr. Pål Martin Sand (36), deputy judge, Hamar, as state secretary to Minister of Justice and Public Security Grete Faremo as of 2 May 2013. At the same time Ms. Astri Aas-Hansen has been honourably discharged from the same office.
Pål Martin Sand comes from a post as deputy judge at Hedmarken District Court. He has previously been private adviser to the Labour Party’s party secretary and private and political adviser at the party’s parliamentary group. Sand holds the Cand. Jur. degree from the University of Oslo 2004, and the Master of Laws degree from King’s College London 2004.
