- The acts of terror at Utøya and here in the government quarter have made a deep impression on Prime Minister Fayed and the Palestinian people. He appreciated the opportunity to visit the government quarter and express his sympathy with the bereaved relatives and victims of the terrorist’s cruel misdeeds. He also said he was impressed by how the Norwegian people had responded to the acts of terror.
On the figure presented by Mr. Fayed to Ms Aasrud there is a plaque with this inscription:
In memoriam of the victims of the terrorist attacks in Oslo and Utøya on 22 July 2011. “Have courage and believe: darkness will never overcome the light.”
