As Minister of Fisheries, Per Sandberg (Progress Party) is responsible for fisheries and aquaculture management, seafood safety, fish health and welfare, framework conditions for the seafood trade and market access for Norwegian seafood.
Minister of EEA and EU Affairs and Chief of Staff at the Office of the Prime Minister. Mr Helgesen is also responsible for coordinating work on EEA matters and Norway’s relations with the EU at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Minister of Labour and Social Affairs has the main responsibility for labour market policy, working environment and safety policy, pensions policy, and welfare and social policy.
The Minister of Culture is responsible for cultural policy, religious and belief-related matters, media policy, sports policy, gaming and lottery regulation, and the coordination of government policy relating to the voluntary sector.
The minister of Children and Equality is responsible for the rights of consumers, families, children and young people, as well as for anti-discrimination and full equality between men and women.
