The Ministry of Finance today publishes reports from two expert groups on the Government Pension Fund Global (GPFG). The reports will be a part of the Ministry’s assessment of Norges Bank’s active management of the Fund and investments in unlisted equity, respectively. The reports will be discussed in the yearly report to the Storting on the Government Pension Fund, to be presented this spring.
The first expert group has assessed Norges Bank’s management of the GPFG. The group has been comprised of professor Magnus Dahlquist at the Stockholm School of Economics and professor Bernt Arne Ødegaard at the University of Stavanger.
The second expert group has assessed investments in unlisted equity. The group has been comprised of associate professor Trond Døskeland at the Norwegian School of Economics and professor Per Strömberg at the Stockholm School of Economics.
