The Norwegian Police Security Service (PST) has reason to believe that a possible attack on Norway is being planned. At a press conference today, the police announced measures to counter this potential threat.
The Norwegian Police Security Service (PST) has reason to believe that a possible attack on Norway is being planned. At a press conference today, the police announced measures to counter this potential threat.
The public will first and foremost experience the heightened level of preparedness through increased police presence at borders, international airports and train stations.
– It is important to emphasize that these measures must be considered to be preventive. The police will be even more vigilant than usual. That means that the public should be more vigilant as well – but we should not let this affect our daily lives, says Anders Anundsen, Minister of Justice and Public Security.
