Today, Borgarting Court of Appeal pronounced its judgment in the legal proceedings brought against the Norwegian State (represented by the Ministry of Petroleum and Energy), by four companies with participating interests in Gassled (the Norwegian upstream gas transportation system).
The Norwegian State was aquitted from the claims and has been awarded costs for the proceedings both in the District Court and in the Court of Appeal.

- The Norwegian Ministry of Petroleum and Energy is satisfied that the claims against the Norwegian State have been rejected by Borgarting Court of Appeal. This means that the Norwegian State has been acquitted from the claims related to the change in the tariff regulations regarding the Norwegian upstream gas transportation system, both in the District Court and the Court of Appeal, says Communications Adviser Ella Bye Mørland at the Ministry of Petroleum and Energy.
