Statement on the situation for the political opposition in Hong Kong

'We are deeply concerned that four members of the political opposition in Hong Kong have been disqualified from the Legislative Council. We encourage the authorites of Hong Kong and China to suspend the decision and guarantee the democratic rights and freedom in accordance with the Basic Law', said Foreign Minister Ine Eriksen Søreide.
