Statement from the UN Security Council on the situation in the Middle East

'Norway has pushed for a UNSC statement. I am pleased that the Council agrees on what is now imperative: that all parties adhere to the ceasefire and that immediate humanitarian aid is provided to the Palestinian civilian population, particularly in Gaza', Minister of Foreign Affairs Ine Eriksen Søreide said.
