Biography:
On 29 November 2019, Tom Staahle was appointed State Secretary to the Minister of Local Government and Modernisation Monica Mæland. Prior to this he had been Mayor of Ullensaker Municipality.
Staahle has a diploma in marketing studies (market communications) from BI Norwegian Business School – the Norwegian School of Marketing. He worked at Nets AS for more than ten years. He has been deputy member of the Norwegian parliament for Akershus and started his political career in the Ullensaker chapter of the Progress Party (Frp).
