Veronica Isabel Pedersen (Progress Party) was appointed State Secretary for the Minister of fisheries in October 2017. Prior to this, she served as political adviser for the Minister of Fisheries from January 2017. As State Secretary, Pedersen is dedicated to fisheries and High North issues related to the marine sector. Pedersen has been actively involved in the Progress Party for many years, as elected official for Nordland County, Rana Municipality and as Deputy Member of the Norwegian Parliament.
