State Secretary Kjetil Vevle (Labour Party)
Kjetil Vevle was constituted as State Secretary at the Ministry of Petroleum and Energy on 11th February 2022.

Vevle came from the Prime Minister’s Office where he was appointed political adviser for Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre on 14th October 2021.
Vevle has previously worked at Norwegian Hydro, the Ministry of Local Government and Regional Development, Public Services International, Norwegian Union of Municipal and General Employees, Zero Emission Resource Organisation and as a trainee at the Labour Party’s Parliamentary Group.
His political experience include positions as a central board member of the Workers' Youth League (AUF), leader of AUF in Hordaland and as a city council member in Bergen for the Labour Party.
Vevle has studied Administration and Organisation Theory at the University of Bergen, and PR and communication management at BI – the Norwegian Business School.
