Strengthening security and defence cooperation in the northern Nordic region
Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre, Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson and Finnish President Alexander Stubb were in Bodø on Wednesday and Thursday this week. Discussions at the high-level meeting were focused on the efforts to strengthen security and defence cooperation in the northern Nordic region.

OECD on the Norwegian economy: High activity and lower inflation
OECD today published their biannual survey of the Norwegian economy, with recommendations on how the government should face important challenges ahead. The survey points to increasing activity in the Norwegian economy. It also emphasises the importance of an efficient public sector to meet ongoing economic developments.

Kim Friele Memorial Prize awarded to Støttegruppa 25. juni and Insight
‘We are all striving to provide everyone – both in Norway and internationally – with a safe and inclusive society. A society where LGBT+ people can live free and good lives and love whoever they want. Støttegruppa 25. juni, the support group for victims of the June 25 attack in Oslo, and the Ukrainian organisation Insight are both doing incredibly important work in support of LGBT+ rights, and I am delighted they are awarded the prize this year,’ says Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre.
