Antisemitism is still a threat
On Monday, Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Haakon were present at the International Holocaust Remembrance Day ceremony marking the liberation of the Nazi concentration camp Auschwitz-Birkenau. ‘The slaughter of the Jews during the Holocaust is without parallel in history. We all have a responsibility to fight antisemitism,’ said Prime Minister Støre.
Norway and Thailand signs historic free trade agreement
Norway and the other EFTA countries have today signed a historic free trade agreement with Thailand. The agreement will give virtually all goods from Norway zero tariffs into Thailand.
White paper on total preparedness: Prepared for crisis and war
Today, Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre and Minister of Justice and Public Security Emilie Enger Mehl presented the white paper on total preparedness. The white paper sets the direction for efforts to strengthen civilian resilience and total preparedness in Norway.
