The National Budget 2022
Information about Norway's National Budget for 2022, presented to the Storting as Report no. 1 (2021-2022) on 12 October 2021. The National Budget presents the Solberg Government's programme for the implementation of economic policy and projections for the Norwegian economy. The Støre Government's Amendment to the 2022 Fiscal Budget Proposal will be presented to the Storting on 8 November 2021.

A budget to promote growth, sustainability, and inclusiveness
The economic crisis is over. The 2022 budget proposes measures to safeguard sustainable growth. We normalise fiscal policy and the withdrawal from the Government Pension Fund Global (GPFG), support those affected by the crisis and facilitate job creation, enable green transition, and improve skill prospects.

To ensure simultaneous access to information that might be market sensitive, the Ministry of Finance publishes selected key figures at 8:00AM prior to the budget launch at 10:00 am. More detailed estimates will be published together with the National Budget.
