The Ministry of Health was established on 1 January 2002. Health affairs were transferred from an additional minister in the Ministry of Health and Social Affairs. This now had its name changed to the Ministry of Social Affairs, listed here as the Ministry of Social Affairs (of 2002).
On 1 October 2004, the Ministry of Health had its name changed to the Ministry of Health and Care Services. A number of affairs were transferred from the Ministry of Social Affairs (of 2002). This now had its name changed to the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, listed here as the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (of 2004).
