On 1 January 1990, the Ministry of Culture and Science had its name changed to the Ministry of Church and Culture. Church affairs were transferred from the Ministry of Church and Education, while science affairs were transferred to the the Ministry of Church and Education. This now had its name changed to the Ministry of Education and Research, listed here as the Ministry of Education and Research (of 1990).
On 3 November 1990, responsibility for church affairs in the Ministry of Church and Culture was transferred to the minister responsible for the Ministry of Education and Research. On 1 January 1991, these affairs were transferred to the Ministry of Education and Research (of 1990), which now had its name changed to the Ministry of Education, Research and Church Affairs. The Ministry of Culture and Science now had its name changed to the Ministry of Culture, listed here as the Ministry of Culture (of 1991).
