On 1 January 2002, the Ministry of Culture (of 1991) had its name changed to the Ministry of Culture and Church Affairs. Church affairs were transferred from the Ministry of Education, Research and Church Affairs, which now had its name changed to the Ministry of Education and Research, listed here as the Ministry of Education and Research (of 2002).
On 20 October 2009, responsibility for church affairs in the Ministry of Culture and Church Affairs was transferred to the minister responsible for the Ministry of Government Administration and Reform. On 1 January 2010, these affairs were transferred to the Ministry of Government Administration and Reform, which now had its name changed to the Ministry of Government Administration, Reform and Church Affairs. The Ministry of Culture and Church Affairs now had its name changed to the Ministry of Culture, listed here as the Ministry of Culture (of 2010).
