Pressure equipment

The regulation applies to pressure equipment for a maximum pressure PS above 0.5 bar (overpressure) and which is designed, manufactured, marketed and put into operation. The regulation shall ensure that pressure equipment and devices are safe. The regulation also applies to notified bodies, user inspectorates and third-party bodies when they are performing conformity assessments and certification procedures in accordance with the regulation.
The economic operators shall ensure that the pressure equipment or assemblies are followed by instructions and safety information. The safety information shall be in Norwegian. Other instructions must be in Norwegian, Swedish, Danish or English. If pressure equipment or assemblies are to be placed on the market in another EEA State, the information shall be in a language determined by that EEA State.
The declaration of conformity must be in Norwegian, Swedish, Danish or English. If the equipment is to be placed on the market or made available on the market in another EEA State, the declaration of conformity shall be translated into the language or languages required by that EEA State.
Documents and correspondence relating to conformity assessment procedures shall be prepared in Norwegian, Swedish, Danish or English language.
