Tattooing inks and injection products for cosmetic purposes

§5 protection of public health by prohibiting products containing harmful substances (§5).

The Regulation gives further provisions about the safety of tattoing inks and injection products for cosmetic purposes, including the aims, scope, definitions, as well as rules preventing products from containing harmful substances – including lists of banned substances and allowed preservatives in Annexes I - 3.

Furthermore, the Regulation contains provisions on labelling, language, marketing and notification of products.
