    “Conflicts and destabilization in the Middle East have led to death and destruction on a massive scale. Millions have been displaced. The Palestinian economy is in crisis. In this dramatic situation, the Norwegian government has proposed increasing the support to the Palestinian government amounting to USD 9.2 million and to UNRWA close to USD 3 million ”, said State Secretary Andreas Kravik.

Starting early December 2024, Norway will assume air defence responsibility for the most important hub for the transport of both civilian and military material from other countries to Ukraine. This way, Norway contributes to ensuring that aid to Ukraine reaches its destination, allowing Ukraine to continue its fight for freedom’, says Minister of Defence Bjørn Arild Gram.
