Today the Tariff Board has published on the internet a draft regulation on general application of two wage agreements in the building industry in theOsloFjord Region.

Based on a claim from the Norwegian Federation of Trade Unions (LO) the Tariff Board proposes to make parts of the Construction Agreement generally applicable for employees in the counties of Oslo, Akershus, Buskerud, Østfold and Vestfold and parts of the Electrical Installation Agreement generally applicable for employees in the counties of Oslo and Akershus. If the Tariff Board makes a decision in accordance with the draft, the regulation will be regarded as minimum terms on wages and employment for employees performing work within the scope of the regulation. The Tariff Board anticipates written comments on the draft regulation by 27 June 2005.
