Change of political advisor
in Ministry of Social Affairs


The Office of the Prime Minister has appointed Ms. Eva-Charlotte Stenset (27), journalist, Oslo, as political advisor to Mr. Dagfinn Høybråten in the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs from 22 February 2005. She succeeds Ms. Line Henriette Holten Hjemdal, who has applied to resign from the office as of 28 February.

Eva-Charlotte Stenset, who grew up at Mjøndalen in the county of Buskerud, now comes from a post as journalist and news anchor on TVNorge. A graduate from Gimlekollen School of Journalism and Communication in Kristiansand and Oslo University College, she has also worked on TVBuskerud, TV2Nyhetene and Magazinet newspaper in Oslo. Ms. Stenset has headed televison activities on Youth of Europe, media department of the mission organisation Jesus Revolution.

The Government represents the Conservative Party (C), the Christian Democratic Party (CD) and the Liberal Party (L). From 28 February 2005 the list of political advisors to the ministers is as follows:
