The new press spokesperson has a graduate degree (cand. polit.) in political science from the University of Oslo, and she has worked the last two years as an adviser at the Foreign Minister’s secretariat. (29.11)

Anne Lene Dale Sandsten appointed press spokesperson at the Foreign Ministry as from 1 December
Anne Lene Dale Sandsten has been appointed as new press spokesperson at the Ministry. She will take up her duties on 1 December 2004.
Ms Dale Sandsten was born in 1966 and is married with two children. She has a graduate degree (cand. polit.) in political science from the University of Oslo (1995) and was admitted as a foreign service trainee at the Foreign Ministry in 1994. Her fields of work have included Latin America, the Middle East and security policy. She was stationed in Syria and Lebanon for three years and spent three years at Norway’s delegation to NATO. The last two years she has worked as an adviser at the Foreign Minister’s secretariat.
