Foreign Minister Jan Petersen to have talks with the Dutch EU Presidency in The Hague on 19 July
Foreign Minister Jan Petersen will be meeting the Dutch foreign minister, Bernard R. Bot, for talks on EU-related issues in The Hague on 19 July. The meeting is part of the regular political consultations between the Norwegian Government and the EU Presidency.
In addition to current EU and EEA issues, the agenda will include the fight against terrorism, the EU’s new neighbourhood policy and relations with Russia. The foreign ministers will also discuss other topical international issues.
They will also discuss co-operation between Norway, which currently holds the Chair of the Council of Europe, and the Dutch EU Presidency.
