Statement on execution in Iran

'I condemn the execution of Mohammad Hassan Razaiee in Iran who was 16 years at the time of crime. Norway opposes death penalty under all circumstances. Death penalty for minors is forbidden under the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR) and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) both ratified by Iran', said Norway’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Ine Eriksen Søreide.
