EU-erklæring om tredjelands tilslutning til en forlengelse av restriktive tiltak relatert til handlinger som underminerer eller truer Ukrainas territorielle integritet, suverenitet, og/eller uavhengighet

On 12 September 2018, the Council adopted Decision (CFSP) 2018/1237[1].

The Council Decision prolongs the restrictive measures for a further six months, until 15 March 2019.

The Candidate Countries Montenegro* and Albania*, and the EFTA country Norway, member of the European Economic Area, as well as Ukraine, align themselves with this declaration.

They will ensure that their national policies conform to this Council Decision.

The European Union takes note of this commitment and welcomes it.
