The Norwegian Minister of Labour Ms Hanne Bjurstrøm opened the annual conference of Research Committee 19 in the International Sociological Association 23 August 2012.
During her speech to the International Sociological Association today, Minister of Labour Ms Hanne Bjurstrøm, stated that “Social investments, not cash benefits, is the key to a sustainable and significant reduction in the number of poor people."
