Today, Norway’s Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg sent the following message to Israel’s Prime Minister Ariel Sharon:

“I was sorry to learn that you have been taken ill and hospitalized. I hope you will soon return to good health, so that you can rejoin your family and continue your important work.

As you know, the Norwegian Government is taking a keen interest in the situation in the Middle East. We will continue to explore haw at any time Norway can be helpful and constructive in the search for peace, stability and human rights in regions torn by conflict.

Again – my most sincere wishes for your speedy recovery.
